Escape to Byron Bay’s hinterland this summer and treat yourself to a stay at Veuve Clicquot hotel — the first of its kind in the world. Hotel Clicquot is a throwback to the retro-themed luxury experience, complete with sunburst yellow decor and an equally aesthetic infinity pool overlooking the ocean and rolling hills below. It’ll truly feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Veuve Clicquot’s latest venture is set to open its doors between 24 November to 5 December 2021 in the breathtaking Coopers Shoot region.
Upon entering the hotel, it’s all about kicking back, relaxing, and taking things slow. Soak up the views with a few canapes and a glass of champagne on deck, or wander out and explore the majestic property and its surroundings.
Guests have access to 24-hour butler service, a sommelier to assist with their champagne discovery, and even a massage therapist to fully unwind. On the first evening, you’ll be treated to a Chef’s Table with Alanna Sapwell, which is bound to be an interactive culinary experience. On Day 2, rise for a yoga session, take a surf lesson, or simply recharge your batteries with a sleep-in. Then, enjoy the pleasures of joie de vivre — the exuberant enjoyment of life with a long lunch by the pool.
Admire Byron Bay from above in a scenic helicopter ride, or alternatively, explore by land in style, courtesy of a chauffeured day trip in a classic vintage car. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the subtropical rainforest, waterfalls, and walking tracks. All activities are optional, so guests can pick and choose to partake as they so desire. You’ll finish the day off with a ‘garden gastronomy’ dinner, prepared by Byron Bay chef, David Moyle, feasting on local produce and Cuvee.
“This Hotel Clicquot luxury experience is perhaps our most ambitious and exciting expression of this spirit to date, with its first iteration in beautiful Byron Bay,” Jean-Marc Gallot, President and CEO of Veuve Clicquot says.
So take this as an invitation to paradise. We can’t wait to chill poolside with a beverage in hand!
