We often see reports floating about Indian actors bagging an international project Mission Impossible 7. Sometimes they are true and the reports get confirmed by the actors themselves. However, this time, the case is slightly different and turned out to be a false report. We are talking about Prabhas’ rumored involvement in Tom Cruise starrer ‘Mission Impossible 7‘. However, the director of the film Christopher McQuarrie has denied it most simply.
One of the Twitter users asked Chris, “@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in ‘MI7’ for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?”
To which the filmmaker replied, “While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet.”
Talking about ‘Mission: Impossible 7’, along with Tom, the film also stars Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett and Frederick Schmidt reprising their roles from the previous films.
While the new additions include Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, and Cary Elwes.
This is the third film in the series to be directed by McQuarrie, after ‘Rogue Nation’ and ‘Fallout’. ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ is slated to release in May 2022.
Talking about Prabhas, his upcoming film is ‘Radhe Shyam’ directed by Radha Krishna Kumar in which he is paired opposite Pooja Hegde.
The pan-Indian actor also has ‘Adipurush’ in which he plays the titular role. The film is directed by Om Raut and also has Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh playing important characters.
