Best on Netflix- January 2022!

Instead, what’s Best on Netflix is a proverbial buffet of confusing European murder mysteries. If your new year’s resolution was to spend less time in front of the TV, Netflix has answered your prayers…by unloading not a whole lot for January 2022.

Traditionally a weak point on the entertainment calendar, the big wigs at Netflix HQ have decided to hold off on any sort of blockbuster listing. But there is one major saving grace and it comes in a neat little season four, part one sized box.

Best on Netflix (Series) in January 2022

1: Ozark: Season 4 Part 1

As mentioned, Netflix really threw all of its eggs into the Ozark basket, and we’re not complaining. Part one of the fourth and final season of Jason Bateman’s incredible blue-toned drama lands on January 21, shining a light on the Byrdes’ future. But while freedom from the cartel is seemingly within reach, family troubles threaten to derail their plans.

2: After Life: Season 3

Ricky Gervais is a funny dude, but After Life has managed to do something none of his others have – Make us feel. Heartfelt, honest, and bleakly brilliant, season three of the hit UK series sees Tony on the up. No longer quite so aggressively grouchy about life, he carries on, despite still continuing to struggle to fill the void left behind by his late wife.

Release date: January 14

3: Too Hot to Handle: Season 3

Super hotties with bodies forbidden from touching each other – it’s like Bible Camp all over again, only this time, there is more than just youthful innocence on the line. Season three of the worst show we’ve admittedly binged watched is a carbon copy of the first two, which sees influencers forced to abstain from sex in order to win $100,000.

2: Munich – The Edge of War

Ok, enough sh*tting on the rom-coms, Netflix has gone serious with this one and it looks great. Based on Robert Harris’ book, Munich – The Edge of War tells the story of a British civil servant and a German diplomat who cross paths in Munich and conspire to prevent war in Europe in Autumn 1938. Littered with nods to the past, this is a must-watch for history-buffs who don’t mind a bit of fiction heroism.

3: Chosen

A foreign language film that really shows Netflix’s versatility, Chosen follows a teenager who has her world turned upside down when she discovers the disturbing truth lurking in her sleepy Danish town. From the creators of The Rain.
